Sunday
Today was the day…
Bicycles whizzed by. The first sign the leading pack were imminent was the presence of the helicopter…can you spot it?
There was also a yacht, which was heading towards Fish Hoek and then when the helicopter arrived, it turned around and rapidly headed towards Simon’s Town.
They could both have been part of a camera team, because the helicopter seemed to swoop in over the yacht…
We walked down to Chalk and Cheese for breakfast. A steady flow of bicycles…
After getting home, I let my breakfast settle and then walked back to the beach for a swim. The water was idyllic. There were quite a few people in the sea. I swam my 2km, just up and down the net line. Back in my summer costume, the water was beautiful.
I am a bit slow, but I do enjoy it.
It’s been an active day. A beautiful summery day with very little wind.
On a side note, family, I think it was Billy Hayes who accidently rode over me on his bike!
I’m ready for the new week.
Nahum 1:7
The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in Him.
The best is yet come – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
