I am in bed (at 8-13pm). My feet are thanking me. They are so happy the weight is off them.
We started the day meeting Julian and David for breakfast at the Stag. After getting home around 10am, I packed a bag for gym and walked down to the gym around 10-30. A little later Mike left to play golf.
After gym, I came home and spent the rest of the afternoon recovering. I did a bit of reading and it was also great to speak to Stacey
Riana arrived at 5pm and we went to the beach before walking up to Echo to meet Julian. We then all walked up the hill and down to the beach again and half way to the end. Meggie loved it. Wide open spaces, a number of other dogs to meet and lots of new smells.
The beach looked fantastic…
What a treasure!
Riana went home and we went out for dinner and we have just got in.
Truffles is sitting beside me. Mike and Julian are watching TV. I have black lemon rooibos tea.
#644 of my 1000 thanks is for this sweet domestic scene.
James 4:7
Submit yourselves then to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
Gym:
- 5km run – 34 min 26
- 20km cycle – this was gruelling, but I kept the smile going! My toes got cramps. 48:43
- 1000m (40 lengths) swim – 30 minutes. I only achieved this by breathing every second stroke instead of every third. It enabled me to get more breath.
Then, as Mike had the car at golf, and Julian was using the other car, I walked home. With all of that, plus the walk on the beach, no wonder my feet are bleating. I will sleep well tonight.
