May this be a Tuesday that counts!
It tied in so very well with the theme I took to the Rise and Shine show today, which went like this: “Tuesday today and life marches on. The days just melt on by…all culminating in weeks, then months and years. In such a manner, a life passes. In Psalm 90:17 Moses, writes: “May the favour of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us, yes establish the work of our hands”. Whatever you do today, look at doing it in the light of eternity. How can what you do, glorify God in some way and contribute positively to eternity. Someone once said “Nothing is more valuable than today!” Wow! There’s a thought”.
Having said all that, and the day is drawing to a close, I’m not sure if I made today count, but reading Bible verses to several thousand people, I am left knowing that God’s Word never returns void. He made the day count!
I’ve had a good day and it’s not over yet. After the show, I did music prep for tomorrow and found some stunning songs. 107.5 CCFm, tomorrow morning 6-9am. Don’t miss it! Then it was off to the Mall where I had a cappuccino and finished the written prep for tomorrow. I’m introducing a new phone-in-fun feature called “Reach for the Reference”. I give a Bible verse and you have to tell me where it is. That’s at about 7-38am. It’s also Winning Worship Wednesday, with a Family DVD to give away and almost all the music more of worship music.
I had a lovely visit from Riana this afternoon. It has been a while since we had tea together. Nice chin-wag. We must do it again some time.
Dinner is cooked…a lovely accompaniment…
Mike is home late. Granny is fed. I’m off to a Living Hope meeting. I should be back by 7pm.
