Today has been a spectacularly restful day. Mike went to play golf in Simon’s Town. I walked to gym, did some treadmill walking and then a Pilates class. Riana gave me a ride home and came in for coffee. That was a nice visit.
I then proceeded to watch some TV while doing some housework. I watched some YouTube and did a smidgen of work. By then it was lunchtime. Julian arrived, followed a few minutes later by Mike. I made coffee and toasted sandwiches for them for lunch.
Stacey called and apart from a chat on the phone, I had a video chat with Elsie. She has not been well – had an upper respiratory tract infection, so was on antibiotics. She is now on the mend. So wonderful to see them both.
This afternoon, ta-da, I had a sleep! I also did some reading.
Then walked with Julian.
Had dinner at the Italian Kitchen in Tokai which was very nice.
And now we are home.
The day was enhanced by being a beautiful sunny autumn day.
What a perfect day. I’ll do it all again tomorrow!
