Dear Elsie,
Today was a much better for me, probably because I fell asleep at about 6:30pm last night! I slept until just after 9pm got up for a short while, went back to sleep until 2am. Was awake for a bit, then slept through to after 5am. I felt knackered last night but woke up full of beans this morning.
It was probably one of the windiest days of the year. Crazy wind was blowing. We went across to Julian’s book room to find a couple of books. Got to love books.
Home to start working, but I managed to only work just over 8 hours which was a far more balanced day and I have ended it without a fat headache. Also I went to Harbour Bay this afternoon to buy David Powerade Zero. As we have not found it at some outlets, I bought everything on the shelf and left the mall jubilant! He was also very happy. He managed the stairs today without stopping, albeit going really slowly. He is feeling much better since last week, but not necessarily better than yesterday. However, he taught three lessons today and they went remarkably well, so he’s coping. On a humorous side note, I had emailed Groote Schuur Cardiac unit and they got back to me. They have an appointment for him for 6th December! Tomorrow is another day.
Mike went out today and came home with a gift that made me way too excited. This has been out of stock for weeks. I have missed it!
The crazy wind we’ve had today is expected to die overnight. We may even get to swim tomorrow morning. I think tomorrow we will ask Courage to clean the windows.
