I woke up really early this morning (around 4am) after a good night’s sleep. By 6-30am, I was being dropped off at my “workplace” for the day.
I had a hearty breakfast washed down with a serious cappuccino. It lasted me to early afternoon. I met amazing people, who showed me the ropes and despite a series of technical difficulties, we the job got done!
Victory!
Tomorrow I don’t have to be there, but on Wednesday, it’s round two for me. My new friends won’t be there, so I’ll have to put into practice all I learned today.
I got back to my brother’s house at about 6pm and had a wonderful bath which soothed my aching feet. Dinner soon.
Today, amidst all the work, I listened to some not so savoury talk. I said nothing and wondered if I should. After reading this verse, I was glad I kept quite.
Philippians 2:14-15
“Do all things without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world…”
Not always worth it to do ALL things without grumbling or questioning, but certainly worth it.
Tomorrow, I will have lunch with my sister! Yay!
Keep the smile going.
God bless you!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
