4-28pm
A chilled day! Rain to begin, with some downpours during the day…
We had some lovely entertainment when two Egyptian Geese arrived on the CCFm balcony. CCFm’s Dr. Doolittle (Hanniki) immediately grabbled her bread and went to say hello to them….
I don’t think he was very sure of me….
With it being school holidays, no Bible study today, so I stayed at work until about 11-30 & then David and I had lunch together. This afternoon I read, watched a bit of TV and tossed some veggies in a pot for Mike & his Mom. I’m still full from lunch and David is still house-sitting. Tonight, Mike does some late night maintenance at CCFm, so we will be up until the wee hours of the morning! I’m going along to keep him company and get some work of my own done. Gotta love date night at CCFm! 🙂
The day has ended with sun shining, the sky blue and the solar heater warming up nicely! It was 33 C when we arrived home which is pretty cold for ‘hot’ water; it’s warmed up nicely with a bit of sun coming out…
It’s 43C now and we have used only 14 units of electricity today. For South Africans reading this, that’s pretty good, wouldn’t you say for a 4 bedroomed, two bathroomed house? Solar is definitely the way to go.
The front garden is bathed in sunshine as well…
You have made know to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. (Psalm 16:11) NIV
Have a glorious weekend!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
