You may have heard of a good marriage gone bad, but this is the great story of a bad marriage gone good! It was the topic of Focus on the Family this morning and will continue tomorrow. Jeff and Cheryl Scruggs describe their marriage journey of infidelity, divorce and restoration, and encourage other couples not to give up on redeeming their relationship. They remarried 7 years after they got divorced. You can hear their whole story by going to this link:

It was a busy morning. I had a brief respite by taking a short walk around the corner of CCFm, under the bridge on Atlantic St. to the Alive Cafe. This is a relatively new coffee house with a difference. For a small monthly, you can work from there….
They have loads of space for creativity, so if you want to hold a class, paint a picture, or just sit at a coffee table and write, it’s a useful little place to know about.
Back at CCFm, I had a meeting until just after 1pm and now I am home.
This morning, I read Psalm 11. Verse 4 says:- –“The Lord is in His holy temple; the Lord is on His heavenly throne.” It does not matter what is going on in your life today, God is not moved. He is the Anchor that holds us firm. The passing of time brings great perspective. When you have walked with the Lord for many years, as David had done, you know who to turn to in times of difficulty. God is on His heavenly throne. He has helped you through hard times before. He will help you through this one too!
God bless you loads!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
