It’s so strange to look back on this. I recognise so many of faces of 41 years ago!
I’m second row (from the top) and tenth from the left. It was our house photo of 1978. I’m sitting between Malcolm and Fiona. Malcolm is still on Facebook. In fact I think he posted this. I’m not sure what’s happened to Fiona and whole lot of my other class mates who were also in that row. It’s amazing how deeply ingrained faces of the past are. Of course, if I passed any of them in the street today, I most likely wouldn’t recognise them. Good piece of history to have and I know where it is when I want to show Julian. I don’t think the photographer did a really good job – there are not too many of us smiling!
This morning, we had a late lie in and then joined Julian and David for breakfast together. I then took J to the airport. He returns in 10 days time, when he hopes to find the house at Echo complete! Lol.
This afternoon, I did a bit of reading and then later Mike and I did a 6km walk. On our return the sun was setting…
We are on the brink of a new week and a new work month. As a lot of my current work has to do with the Middle East, I think it’s going to quiet as most schools are closed for the week. I’ll soon discover if the HR departments are working.
Psalm 5:11
Let all who take refuge in You rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread Your protection over them, that all who love Your name may be filled with joy.
It’s my birthday verse, seeing as I’m 5th November!
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
