Exodus 5:23b Moses speaking, says “You have not rescued your people at all.”

Moses was speaking to God. He was grumbling because God had said He had “seen the misery of the Israelites” (Exodus 3:7-8) and He had come down to rescue them.  On the grounds of this promise from God, Moses is obedient and goes to Pharoah who doesn’t listen to Moses and Aaron, but instead makes life much harder for the Israelites. As you can imagine they are in an uproar. Moses says to God, “You have not rescued your people at all!” I am sure many people have looked at God’s promises in the Bible and have sometimes felt and maybe thought or even said “God has not done that!” He has not been faithful to His Word. Well guess what? It’s not over! This is not the end of the story. God IS true to His Word. He will not go back on what He has promised. It WILL turn out okay. We just need to trust Him. That’s what FAITH is all about – Forsaking All I Trust Him.
