Sunday
Dear Elsie
Today was the day that began with a message from the guests – there were starlings getting inside the roof. Starlings are all over our area and I regularly see them looking for places to nest. They managed to squeeze into a gap behind the eves, so we had to go down and block it up. No Courage today, so guess who had to climb the ladder and do the fix…
There were a few spots the birds could get in..
If our quick fix doesn’t work, tomorrow Courage will do a better job tomorrow.
And then today, I packed up the Italy puzzle – I didn’t finish it but I was finished with it. It was time to move on. So I’ve got this one and I’m excited about it. With proper sorting, I think it will be easier than Italy.
I’ve done the frame and now it’s onto sorting pieces. My strategy with this is to almost divide it into piles – pink or stain glass, yellow with blue, yellow with white and anything red, yellow and orange. Then I’m also setting aside the pieces from the bottom circle and the pieces that make up the faces. Once I’ve done that, the assembly should go pretty fast. We’ll see.
Weekend done and a grand new week begins.
Psalm 33:7
He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; he puts the deep into storehouses.
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
