I think this message is important to those who work in ministry. It is so easy to go on and on and on and because a lot of ministry takes place on a Sunday, pastors and priests and ministers end up working 7 days a week. So when in the Life Apps Series that Andy Stanley’s North Point Community Church ran, one of the messages was on rest, it was memorable.

Seldom preached on, regularly felt guilty over, possibly perceived as lazy, the importance of rest is greater than you imagine. At the time of the message, my life was well balanced and I was getting enough rest, but as we have hurtled towards the close of 2012, things changed. I have been going to bed later, waking earlier, working more and sleeping less. So my aim for this long weekend is to catch it all up! The one thing I need to do, which I do with joy and gladness of heart is attend David’s graduation tomorrow! 🙂 Otherwise…

Just before 7am this morning, I had a surprise visitor to the Rise and Shine Show. Aunty Edna! She is a regular listener to R&S and caller into the show and her daughter bought her into visit…here she is with Jason…
