Dear Elsie
Today was the day we had quite a display of nature from the moment the sun rose to the moment it sank in the evening sky. After days of rain, we had sunshine today.
This afternoon, a mama whale and her baby swam past. They spent some time just off our coast before heading towards Simon’s Town. They were visible for quite some time so it was fun to watch. Of course, the photo doesn’t do them justice.
And across the bay on the distant Hottentot Holland mountains, we see snow.
We can feel it in the frosty air!
I worked a full 8 hours today and went for a walk at the end of it.
Home for dinner. The sunset view…
Today also is Gerrie’s birthday! Happy Birthday Gerrie!
And that’s Thursday done. The days just fly by. I’m glad to be able to stop and enjoy the abundant nature.
