My life is rather mundane right now. Made up of work, there has not been too much time for much else as I try to catch up after our holiday.
As I began to wind down for the day, Mike and I were sitting down to eat when click! the lights went out. It was 5-10pm. When the sun has set and darkness sets in, it is very dark.
I would actually like to go somewhere where there is no light after dark….just for a few days. Just to see the incredible stars. A short while ago, I went for a drive to see how big the area of darkness was. It was actually not very widespread but just those lights off opened up a majestic display of stars I never usually see. There are so many and God has called them each by name. He sees each one and if He sees the stars, He sees us. If He knows the stars, He knows us. We are far more important to Him and that blows my mind.
The lights came back on at 9-50pm.
At least I can get my technology charged now.
When we were away Stuart fed Truffles. Stuart lives in the cottage outback and Truffles now goes over there whenever she feels like it. Stuart sent me this photo….she looks very comfie…
Remember my MSC bill? They took off the whole amount, so I’ve written to them to ask for a refund of the $64 payment for the one internet voucher I couldn’t use. We’ll see how difficult that battle is to win. They are a huge company, but they probably will have a rule or fine print that says they can’t refund after a cruise. I’m not particularly hopeful, but I’ve given it a shot!
I have worked nearly 8 hours today. I worked over the weekend to catch up. I’m beginning to feel on top of things.
Proverbs 16:4
The Lord has made everything for His own purposes.
These are the days.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
