3-41pm
Some years ago, our neighbours moved away and asked us to care for their cat Truffles until they found accommodation that could support her. She had spent equal amounts of time at our house anyway, so we happily fostered her, half thinking they would never return. We were surprised when they suddenly arrived one day and our precious Truffles went home with them. I wondered if I would ever see her again. I half hoped she would ‘stray’ back to our house, but she never did. So yesterday afternoon, out of the blue, I received a phone call from the owner, saying their circumstances had changed and would we like Truffles back forever. I phoned Mike and after some discussion regarding the pros and cons, we decided to take Truffles back…say hello Truffles…
She looks a little uncertain, but she is settling down. I don’t know if she remembers us, but right now, she is lying on my bed, kneeding, so that’s quite positive. We’ll keep her inside overnight and see how she does tomorrow.
She wasn’t the only cat I saw today…I went to gym. This is Gym Cat…chilled….
Sweet hey! And believe it or not, right out side the gym, there was such a sight to behold….
GOATS!
I’m sure they are not supposed to be eating that tree! Hello you! Goats are mentioned in the Bible.Leviticus 16:21 “He (Aaron) is to lay both hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the wickedness and rebellion of the Israelites—all their sins—and put them on the goat’s head. He shall send the goat away into the wilderness in the care of someone appointed for the task”. And that is where the term SCAPEGOAT comes from i.e letting someone else take the blame.
Then Jesus came and died for us. No more sacrifices of goats were needed. That is the message of the cross…it’s the message of Easter. We have salvation in Jesus, through His death on the cross. You just need to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ & what He did for you! 🙂
I appreciate my salvation, every single day.
God bless you loads!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
