Monday
Dear Elsie
Monday’s are the days that generally are super busy. There is such a lot of work that comes in over the weekend that needs attention on a Monday. Sometimes, I feel swamped, but even if it takes a few days, I eventually will get on top of it all. I am trying to still get some steps in, so I took off at 7.30am for a 20 minute walk down a hill, up a hill, up daisy lane, down the hill and up our road home.
I got home and jumped into work, only stopping to put washing out. While I was doing that, a number of whales splashed, breached and slapped their way towards Simon’s Town. It was quite a sight. I took photos, but they are always so underwhelming when taken from a cell phone camera. Beautiful blue sea with a touch of whale…
It was fun to watch. There have been many sightings and they seem to have arrived quite early this year.
I worked until 2.45pm and then took a drive to Glencairn tidal pool for 45 minutes in very warm (18C) water. First time I’ve ever swum here.
That was great. Home, shower and then 2 hours of work before wrapping up for the day.
Dinner has been had and now it’s time for a quiet evening.
John 16:33
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
It’s not about now – we are only passing through.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you.
In His Grip,
Gran xx 🙂
