Today was the day…
I bought a robot! Stacey has been telling me about her robot and how wonderful it is, so today, Mother’s Day 2021, while I was on a video call with her, I bought my own!
I am so excited about it and can’t wait for it to arrive. It may take a bit of time to get here, but when it does, I’ll definitely be writing about it! It’s going to revolutionise my housework habits. It’s 55 Decibels so not too loud, I hope.
We woke up late this morning, so only did a walk to C’est La Vie to pick up croissants for breakfast. We enjoyed those and later Mike cooked his famous Spaghetti Bolognaise. That was as good as usual. Oh I got flowers from both David and Mike. Today is also the 35th anniversary of our engagement!
Sweet Barbara on the balcony – she is here until Tuesday. 
We had a quiet afternoon, a short late afternoon walk and I am now going to catch up with some work.
