Mike was a bit upset with me. His complaint is that he doesn’t felt heard. I interrupt him or don’t appear to be listening to him.
I thought he was being a bit harsh and planned on sulking. But as I walked into the house after the conversation, yesterday’s verse went through my mind.
Proverbs 15:1
A gentle answer turns away wrath.
As he came in after me, I was standing by the steps, feeling pretty small. I apologised. It was hard to do.
The ‘wrath’ crumbled.
You don’t need a lot of words.
“I’m sorry” will do.
Just two.
And it doesn’t take a long blog to get that point across!
#290 of my 1000 thanks is for saying sorry and it being accepted.
These are the says.
Keep the smile going.
God bless you!
In His Grip,
Helga xx 🙂
