Psalm 29:10-11 “The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever. The Lord gives strength to His people; The Lord blesses His people with peace.”
What wonderful words. Sometimes in life things happen that are entirely outside of our control – perhaps there’s a burglary or a car is stolen; a car accident, a flooded home. Things all around may seem to be falling apart but guess what? God has not abandoned you. He has not lost control. He sits enthroned over the flood. He has His hand on all that is happening in your life. He is enthroned as King forever. You may not understand why things are going wrong; why God is allowing things to go awry. Your part is to keep trusting Him. He gives strength to His people – that’s YOU! Through all the trials of life, through all the storms and unexpected interruptions, not only will God give you strength, but He will also bless His people with peace.
