Working from Home

Monday

Today was the day…

I worked from our new home for the first time. I had done some work from here before, but today, I had my weekly team meeting from here. I’ve reset my office nook up in front of the balcony and now have a blind in the two windows next to my desk. It means that when the sun shines in the morning, I can close the blind and start work at a reasonable time. This is the view through the balcony window…

And through the side window….

It was great and there will be many such work days to come, but I do need to get back to the old house, box up a lot of things and get it ready for Valerie-Gail.

The other big thing I did today was go to gym! I haven’t been for weeks because of my toe, but the antibiotic has largely worked and my toe is about 75% better. It was great to go back but  much busier than the last time I was there. Best to go earlier (I was there at 7:30am). I didn’t do too much else today apart from work, a bit of cleaning, a bit of shopping and we had visitors for tea. Monday has blitzed past.

Tomorrow is election day in the US. It’s going to be interesting to see the outcome of this one. Donald Trump or Joe Biden.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

The best is yet to come.

Keep the smile going.
