What The Surgeon Said

Monday

Today has been a varied day. I slept well last night and woke up refreshed the morning. The biggest event was visiting the surgeon. I picked up my mouth cast on the way.

From this picture you can’t fully see the reason why I need surgery. It actually looks terrible and for the first time I completely understood where the problem lies. The surgeon showed me exactly what he is going to do. I also understood why the orthodontist didn’t call me right away. There is a tiny little problem. A molar on each side is fractionally slightly out-of-place. The surgeon had received an email from the ortho and he said he wasn’t sure if the surgeon would want to go ahead with the surgery until the two molars were moved.

I told the surgeon I want this surgery done asap. Let’s just get it done and then sort out the orthodontics later. He agreed and said he would phone the orthodontist and speak to him about it as well as what type of implant needs to be put in on the day of the surgery as well.

Tomorrow I will phone and find out if he could get hold of the ortho. I somehow think that I may be called back to the ortho and they will try to move the molars before the surgery, but I’m hoping that I’ll get my way and get the surgery done.

I worked.

And this afternoon the engineer came to talk about level 4. Mike loaded the plans onto the TV.

This afternoon I worked and then we went to Echo to see the progress of the day. And there has been messy progress. The top of the stairs are covered in rubble…

Lots of rocks. The builder will get the chute going again and clear them off the land altogether.

A lot has already been moved…

It was very misty…

We took a walk from Echo to the end of Fish Hoek beach and back…

It’s been a good varied day.

Psalm 33:1

The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,
