What The Surgeon Said 2

Tuesday

Today, on the top of my agenda was to find out what the surgeon and the orthodontist said. The surgeon had (I think) called the orthodontist for a chat. The outcome was a written report from the surgeon which I was told contained the need for me to go back to the orthodontist and have the molars moved before surgery.

Darn!

Anyway, I have made an appointment to see the orthodontist a week today. Then we start moving those teeth! We have a good pair of pliers and Mike has a strong grip, but that’s not the way this works.

Realigning expectations – surgery in May perhaps? If so, I should be done with treatment by the end of the year. 😬

Today we went to look at flooring. We found some really great options, like this one…

That’s our front-runner for our floor. Julian chose a wood look, while we decided on a lovely porcelain tile for the rental and basement levels.

Keeping within budget is never easy!

David is busy overhauling Echo’s WIFI system. His China documentation is still chugging through the various departments. It should arrive this week and then get sent to China, where no doubt, it will chug through more departments before being finalised. Hopefully by then the Virus will have worn its way out. If China does close business to foreign teachers until August, there are other options which he is working on.

Julian leaves this evening. We are about to head to dinner and then the airport, so I’ll get this wrapped up.

Proverbs 16:4

The Lord has made everything for His own purposes.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

My timing was all wrong today and I didn’t get there. Tomorrow I will. Yay!
