Washing Machine Issues

I woke early this morning and managed to get in an hour and a half work before we met with Julian for breakfast.  After we got home, I fitted in another hour before going to gym. The view from one of the treadmills…

I’ve yet to swim in it. I can tell you that from the treadmill, it looks like a lot of PT swimming up and down that long swimming pool. I am not swim fit. I ran for 30 minutes and I can feel my heart is getting fitter. I then did a whole stack of other exercises that made up my hour and I left to go home.

We have not done a load of washing for a few weeks. We have some washing machine issues. Our washing machine has a quick-wash setting which we always use, but for some reason the timer seems to have broken and now it washes for an hour or more! With the water shortage, we can’t have that!  Today I took a whole lot of underwear and shirts and washed them by hand in tank water.  It was satisfying not using drinking water, but it was work. When I was a child, we did not have a washing machine. The washing got done in the bath. My mind went back to the amount of work that was for a family of 6. I took it all for granted.

After the washing, Julian and I walked around the block and then this evening we went out for dinner. We have just got in.

#479 of my 1000 thanks is for the phone call I am about to have with Stacey!

More sound advice from the book of Hebrews.

Hebrews 13:5

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

These are the days!

Keep the smile going!

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
