Warm Windy Father’s Day

Sunday

Today was the day…

…that is Father’s Day! When we woke up, we could feel it was strangely warm. A winter berg wind was blowing from the north and it was hot. View from my bed…

The beach was beautiful.

And being Father’s Day, there were families at the beach…such a cute pair of perfectly put together sandals!

Mike had a run. I had a swim. The underwater visibility was much better than yesterday, so I did quite a lot of swimming and enjoyed it so much. The 1,2,3 are what my watch considers as laps.

For the rest of the day, we video called with Stacey and Elsie. It is their 12th wedding anniversary today as well. Mike went out to Kalk Bay for a while. I stayed home and put Milo into action. She cleaned. She nearly drove over the edge of the balcony! Our guests checked out of the guest house, so I took advantage of the hot windy weather and washed their linen and towels. Now it’s all dry and ready for use again.  So two reservations done and both gave great feedback and 5*. Hopefully, we will get some more bookings.

We had take-aways for a very late lunch. Mike and David had Steers burgers, while Julian and I got Bandari’s chicken korma (mild). It was really good.

End of the weekend.

Psalm 25:4-5

Show me Your ways, Lord, teach me Your paths. Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are my God my Savior, and my hope is in You all day long.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
