Waiting for the Rain to Come

It’s been a blustery few hours, with a fresh north-westerly wind and lots of ominous looking clouds. It looks like rain; it’s supposed to have come already,  but we are still waiting.

It’s now almost 8pm and rain has just started to fall! Let’s hope it falls heavily enough to top up our tanks and the tanks of all the 10s of thousands of people who have ordered them over the last few months. Mike has cleaned the gutters and spent some time today feeding water from the fuller tank to the one we use the most. The level of tank water had dropped to below half way, so it will be good to be able to top it up again. These looks like pre-frontal rain. Hopefully there is more to come.

#563 of my 1000 thanks is that it was so cool today, I was back in jeans. That was a treat after yesterday’s heat.

Psalm 37-23-24

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
