Tired!

4-03pm

That’s about it about today! TIRED! I woke up WAYYYYY too early. Tossed and turned and then eventually got up earlier than usual. Went through my usual routine, and was at work by 5-08am!  From the show, I did some work, then went to Joyce Meyer ministries to collect books for the weekly giveaway. From there, I went to the Blue Route to buy almonds, which have doubled in price! I was surprised. From now I’ll get them at FLM. I had half an hour to spare, so I sat down at M&B and did show prep for tomorrow … this was my view…

M&B

…and I ordered a red cappuccino which was really good…Red cappuccinoAfter that I went back to CCFm for an hour long workshop. At 1-05pm, I left Muizenberg. It took me 50 minutes to get home. The traffic back up due to the roadworks, was from Kalk Bay almost to Muizenberg. I had to stop three times before it was finally time for me to move through the stop/go. As a result I was late for gym, but have friends who extend grace, so it wasn’t a problem! We had a fabulous workout and now I am home. I cooked some onion and mince and so there is actually some dinner for Mike. Then I had a shower and am sitting on my bed drinking tea!

This morning in my quiet time, I was reminded of why the Lord led the Israelites in the desert. It’s a reminder to us as well of the characteristics the Lord would like to see in our lives…

Deuteronomy 8:2 “Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the desert these 40 years, to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep His commands.”

It’s an amazing synopsis of possibly why we go through the trials we go through. Our true hearts are revealed in unexpected circumstances. God leads us through (He doesn’t leave us) our deserts, so we remain humble, to see what is in our hearts and to see if we will be obedient to His word.

Big challenge for the times we are squeezed.

God bless you LOADS!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
