It’s been quite interesting how suddenly with the cold wet snap that we have had here in Cape Town, the birds are back with a vengeance. This was five of them fighting over their bottle of juice at 12 noon yesterday…
As I was working a short while ago, I suddenly thought how quiet it was….no twittering birds…this is why…they finished it.
3-30pm…
Now we wait for them to return. The birds have been a great joy. They fight and bicker and flit about. The funnest thing I’ve seen them do is for three of them to line up on the perch and take turns in drinking. Some for you; some for you; some for you! It is very difficult to catch them on camera doing that – it’s so rare. I need a webcam on the bird’s juice bottle!
