There Was a Loud Crack

Tuesday

Today was the day…

I worked the whole day… close to 10 hours. The wind was blowing so there was no swim. There was a lot of work to do.

Today something really unexpected happened. I got dressed in the bathroom. I closed the lid of the loo and sat down to put my shoes on. There was a loud crack! I was shocked. I broke the toilet lid.

18 months ago, when I was 10kg heavier, I would have been 10 x more upset. Today I was just shocked! Must have been a weakness in the lid.  In all my 57 years, this has never happened before. They don’t make toilet lids like they used to!

I see the cat walk will soon be closed…Mike and I will have to change our route.

Let’s hope they keep to the schedule. It closes a week today.

Last night, when I was on the Caracal Facebook page I found the email address of one of the facilitators, so I emailed her about the droppings I posted here the other day. She wrote back and said it looked like that was more like porcupine droppings than caracals. My neighbour was very relieved.

Not much else to say today except Julian arrived for a week. We walked to the end of the road and back.

John 14:26

When the Father sends the Advocate as My representative – that is, the Holy Spirit – He will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
