The Restless Murky Sea

Tuesday

Today was the day…

I stayed at home almost the entire day. The only time I ventured out was to walk to the end of the road and back.  The wind continued to blow stirring up the sea to a milky green with streaks of darker colours. This is from our lounge doors…

And this is from our bedroom window…

It was murky and restless and I’d not want to be in it. Tomorrow the wind is forecast to drop.

Meanwhile, Courage and Brian started with the first two gabion baskets.

Lots more work to be done, but this is how it starts. One small step at a time.

Julian arrived. So did our next guest, but when he leaves on Friday, we have no more bookings for a couple of weeks. We’ll see if that changes.  Tomorrow, our electrician comes to look at the electrics of the cottage which are pretty ancient and need to be redone.  Today I worked 8 hours and paid my tax. Another job done.

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
