The Build Goes On

Monday

We are waiting to hear from the President of South Africa – what the next steps are, if any to try to curb and spread of Covid-19. It is a crazy season that will pass but for today the build goes on. I just feel like holing up inside my house, working from home as usual and not going out at all, but Mike needs to. He headed off to Retreat Electrical this morning to buy the balance of items needed for the electrics. He then came home, changed into his overalls and headed to Echo. He spent most of the day there, only arriving home after 4pm. He worked on the ground floor and was alone so pretty safe, I hope. I went down just before he packed up and got some photos of the work that is being done on the 2nd floor ahead of, hopefully, the cement coming on Thursday. Workers putting mesh down…

4 months ago today, I took this photo…23-November-2019..

We wait on tenterhooks to see if we are going to be able to get the cement on Thursday or if businesses will be closed. The cement delivery is from one company but they use a second to pump the cement up. Both need to be operational for it to go ahead. If not, the build will be delayed. We’ll see what happens. We do want all the workers who work on the site to be safe.

Isaiah 26:12

Lord, you established peace for us; all that we have accomplished You have done for us.

Amen.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
