Sunday Morning at the Beach

Sunday – 6 days til Christmas!

Today was the day…

We got to swim! There was a lot of seaweed in the water – kelpy bits and pieces, so I didn’t too too much swimming. I managed 1.5km, but the other thing was we went down at 8am to take advantage of the shark net being put out, only it wasn’t! The shark spotters finally arrived at 9am and by then we were done. I’m not sure why they came so late. I am acting cautiously but even so, in order to be beyond the breakers, I was out of depth. Fortunately, there were lots of people around. More eyes in the water means more people can see if there is any danger. Such a beautiful day.

Mike in his happy place…

Home, breakfast and a restful morning. We then went shopping before having a quiet afternoon. We did go for a little drive late afternoon.

One of the things I did today was watch this on You Tube. If you want to watch someone do something amazing, watch this. What resilience and determination. Not sure I could do it. Laura Try once spent three months homeless because of financial difficulties. She also has suffered with bouts of depression.

An amazing achievement.

Ephesians 4:7

To each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
