Stacey’s Birthday

Wednesday

4th December. Such a precious date. It’s hard to believe that 32 years ago I became a Mom. It was a wonderful day, but my how time has flown. The days may be slow but the years are fast. Stacey has Elsie who is now 18 months old. This was Stacey at the same age…she used to twist her hair with her left hand – that’s why her hand is on her head.

It was great to video chat with her today. I’m really looking forward to seeing them for Christmas.  Happy Birthday Stacey 🥰

Today, I made low carb flapjacks for breakfast…the packet was a gift from David for my birthday…

They worked out quite well. In the next batch, I chopped up 70% dark chocolate and added that.

For the rest of the day, I worked. At 2pm, I went to see a friend for tea. On the way I stopped at Echo to see the morning’s progress…the workers are busy building the front beam.

At about 6pm, Mike and I returned to see the afternoon’s work complete….

I took a whole lot of photos..

The whole structure is going to expand over the next week and literally to capture its growth, I’ve got to go twice a day. Tomorrow Julian comes for a couple of nights.

It’s been a very windy day but according to wind guru it’s going to drop overnight – Thursday and Friday are due to be calm before it starts blowing again on Saturday. This is summer in Cape Town. 🍃🌞

Grateful for this day.

Psalm 95:1-2

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.

Amen!

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
