Square Eyes

It is very tempting right to scrap today’s blog and go to sleep, but that’s not an option! Unless I completely forgot it, I wouldn’t really consider not writing before bedtime. It is just in my routine to do so.

Today started off pretty chilled. Mike left the house before 6am to do his third and final day of ‘working away from home.’ I did a bit of work, but there was very little to do. I went to gym at 8 and then met Julian for breakfast at 9-30am. He came back to the house with me and we sat and chatted for an hour or more, which was really great.

After he left, I went and checked my email and at the same time the MD of the company sent me a Skype message. After answering her questions, I zipped downstairs and cleaned the kitchen. As I was getting towards the end of it, Mike arrived home nice and early! I was just relaxing when I got a message from Riana regarding a work assignment she was working on. It was far bigger than originally thought. We put our heads together and came up with a workable solution. We both worked on the project for a few hours. I left to meet Mike and Julian for dinner and on our arrival home, I got stuck in again, hence the late blog!

But this was dinner view…Simons Town…

I think the ‘lights’ in the sky are spots on the window! 😀

It’s easy to be thankful today.

#598 of my 1000 thanks is that today Stacey is 7 months pregnant!  It’s getting closer.

#599 of my 1000 thanks is for tiring work. I am grateful!

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage  your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂

Gym was a grid day so:

  • Walked – 27 minutes
  • Grid – 30 minutes
  • Cycled – 3 minutes
