Today was the day…
We slept quite a lot! Maybe it was the warmth or perhaps we were unusually tired after our morning swim, but both Mike and I had morning and afternoon naps.
We had got up quite early. Venus is still in the early morning sky. I’m not sure for how much longer but it makes for a grand photo to have the sun rising with Venus there too.
After our swim, Mike slept, while I lay on the couch reading. This lead to me admiring the still, calm warm day. View from the couch.
A few minutes later, I dozed off.
This afternoon, I had another snooze.
Later this afternoon, we took a drive to Simon’s Town. A family walking home after a day out – a snippet of life on a Sunday afternoon.
So it’s been a very restful day & I’m fully recharged for the week ahead.
