Sad News of Aunty Wyn

My other Mother is close to the end.  Today I had news from Rowena, Aunty Wyn Beale’s daughter – to say this….

Her Mum was my other Mother. A wonderful caring, loving mentor and soul mate who cared for me, nurtured me, counselled me and rejoiced with me. For years I went to her home every Thursday for lunch. She loved my children and my husband. When she and her husband left for the UK, I was very sad. Then, after her husband’s death, she moved closer to her family in Sydney, Australia.

I spoke to her last earlier this year. My beloved Aunty Wyn. We told each other how much we love each other and I thanked her for the influence she had on my life. I’ve written about her before here.

This is dearest Aunty Wyn on her 90th birthday (this Friday would be her 95th birthday).

Aunty Wyn Beale

She is so in my prayers right now as she hovers on the brink of the eternal life she has believed in for almost her entire life. What a prayer warrior. What a saint. She will enter heaven the same way she lived – joyfully.

I’ve always said, ‘when I grow up, I want to be like Aunty Wyn.’ Nothing has changed.

#476 of my 1000 thanks is for every remembrance of Aunty Wyn Beale.

Isaiah 46:4

I will be your God throughout your lifetime–until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you

God never leaves us and we are not without hope.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
