Sacrifices Have To Be Made ;-)

3-05pm

A beautiful day dawned…my sunrise photo was taken just after 5-45am…

After the show, I headed north of the city…destination- Canal Walk…

And I was there to meet two lovely ladies, who bring with them years of experience.

What a blessing to be in their company, to hear how God has bought them through, and is still bringing them through  circumstances, that, at times are not all that easy. They testified to the grace God gives amidst trials of various kinds. Both have walked the dark valley of losing children.  Merle’s daughter died of an aneurysm, many years ago, at the young, young age of 23. Lyn’s son died in a cycling accident while training for the Argus.  God has sustained them. They have learnt that it’s not about here and now, it’s about eternal life…

Revelation 21:4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

We had a wonderful chat…I had a good strong cappuccino…

….and a MOST delicious cheesecake…

I only ate half, but have to admit, Merle, that when I got home, I had the rest. I put all the food for the day onto My Fitness Pal and it spewed out the sad news that I only have 180 calories left for dinner. Oh dear! Sacrifices have to be made! 🙂

After I got home, Stacey was online, so we had a quick natter. They are planning their next few travel plans in and around South East Asia and it all sounds very exciting. Right now they are still in Kuala Lumpur and enjoying working as well as seeing the sights. A number of people have asked ‘where are they working?’ It does sound amazing that they can just go from here to there and mysteriously ‘be working’ wherever they are. They both work online, so they can work anywhere in the world as long as there is a good FAST internet connection. Asia has that, so that’s where they’ve started off. I’m so proud of them. They visited  KL’s colourful, vibrant, Chinatown…

Off to sort out dinner, of which I will have very little!

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
