Richard’s Gift…

2-47pm

We are about to leave for our 4 day anniversary break, but I thought I’d post my blog before we leave, so I have time to sort out internet connectivity while we’re away. Today we (Mike & I) received a beautiful gift. It came from Richard, who is a genius and fluent in Greek and Hebrew. He writes for the Rise and Shine show in a feature I call ‘What’s in a Word’. The Bible is rich with meaning and so often the verses we read have deeper meaning than that which first meets the eye. Richard is brilliant at digging deeper. One of the words I asked him to tackle is ‘Countenance’. He wrote such a great piece on it and then went to a calligrapher and had it beautifully transcribed. That in itself would have been an amazing gift. But Richard went further and had it framed.

…and a close up of the first few lines…

Thank you Richard! Mike loves it and is going to find a special place for it.

Numbers 6:24-26  The Lord bless you, and keep you;  The Lord make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace.’

This morning, after the Rise & Shine show, I stopped by Granny and she was absolutely FINE! Her dressing has been changed and everything looks great. Then I went to FLM and met with friends…

It is such fun hanging out with like-minded people. The conversations that we have would make for interesting reading! I think we have to start saying things like, “what you hear at FLM stays at FLM.” Nothing like a good mystery!

Time for me to get this posted.

Next time, I hope to be writing from my weekend destination!

God bless you loads!

In His Grip
