Quickest Gumtree Purchase Ever

Stacey has been wanting to buy a camp cot. I said I’d put a message on Facebook, but I didn’t get round to it. Today at 16:28, she sent me a Gumtree link for a camp cot in Fish Hoek. Without even looking too closely at the advert, I called the number and Kim answered the phone. I inquired about the camp cot and asked if it was still available. Yes it is. I asked if she was in Fish Hoek. She said she’s in Sun Valley. Better and better. She said the camp cot was at her Gran’s house and mentioned an address less than 1km away. I asked if I could meet her there in 15 minutes. She said yes. At 16:59, I sent Stacey this photo of the camp cot assembled in our lounge!

R300 well spent. It’s now in the guest room, waiting for Adrian, Stacey and Elsie to come and collect it! 🙂

It’s been such a pleasure having Courage painting and varnishing. Tomorrow, he starts painting the back of our house. He will work through to Thursday and then on Friday he starts a new job somewhere else. When he’s done there, he’ll contact us again. We have lots of maintenance that can be done.

Today was really busy work-wise. Next weekend there are interviews taking place in New Delhi and Mumbai in India, so we have a batch of Indians attending. Getting their paper work in order was no small task.

#914 of my 1000 thanks is that we got the Indians sorted!

#915 of my 1000 thanks – CAMP COT!

Psalm 44:3

It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your face, for You loved them.

Amen!

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
