Prof Tim Noakes in the Rise & Shine Studio

2-08pm

That was the highlight of today’s show…having Prof Tim Noakes onto Rise and Shine between 7 & 8am to speak about Low Carb High Fat eating. He bought with him his book

Tims book

…which we gave away to one blessed listener…Di, who has lost 10km on a LCHF liftstyle ! I know that LOADS of listeners have come onto this blog today to see the “All Things LCHF” tab at the top of the page. It gives a synopsis of what Low Carb High Fat eating is all about & directs you to a number of excellent resources.  It was a high-energy hour, one that we hope to repeat 4 weeks from today on Tuesday 12th March.

What I have found following a LCHF lifestyle is that I have a better memory, a few skin issues have cleared up & very few headaches. Then one of the things that I suddenly woke up to one morning is that I don’t need tissues on my way to work. I used to always have an early morning runny nose. No longer! All this with cutting out sugar and wheat and all overt carbs, like bread, pasta, rice, potatoes etc.

After the show, I did a bit of work and then had a presenter’s meeting…from left to right Xolani (who does the Xhosa words of the day), Elliot, Lulie, Odile, JP and Fusi.

Presenters meetingHanniki was also there. She is 2ic in the programming department and had been at three of these presentations, so knew it quite well…

HannikiNo, I hadn’t just woken her up from a snooze!

I left at 12-45pm, needing to go shopping, needing to eat something and needing to get back home before Mavis left for the afternoon.

At the roadworks…

Waiting at the roadworksThis was lunch…

Lunch

Genesis 9:3 “Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything.”

Now I’ve had coffee and done my blog. I need to replace my alarm clock that I broke last night! Ah well, it had seen better days.

Thanks for stopping by!

God bless you enormously!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
