We have just arrived home from Paul and Nadine’s wedding. It was altogether lovely. Held at the picturesque Muldersvlei Estate, just outside of Cape Town. The day dawned looking drizzly and overcast…
This is the road to the estate… it is a beautiful treed, historic farm and, having never been here before, we were in for a treat…
The wedding was held outside, so it was great that the rain had passed by the time the event got underway. Here I am just soaking in all the beauty…
There were LOTS of children involved and a special area for them to sit…
The Hungarian Trio gave us much pleasure…

The Manor House…
We all took our seats and the MC invited the father of the bride to say a few words. At the end of his speech, he said, “and now I’m off to get my daughter!” And he did….this was first glimpse of Nadine…
And this is the groom watching his bride arrive…
The flower girls all arrived to give Nadine a white rose before she continued her walk down the petal covered aisle…
The ceremony was so special. At 11-11am, they became husband and wife!
They signed the register and returned to be greeted by enthusiastic bubble-blowers….
It’s not easy to get 120 people into the photo and took a bit of time to set up…but the bride didn’t mind. She’s MARRIED!
We all lined up and made a tunnel of love after which we followed the bride and groom through this special tunnel…
The violinist and flautist followed. We were each given a stone and as I placed it in the fountain, I prayed for a long and happy marriage for Paul and Nadine. I am a witness to the vows they have made before God today.
A delicious wedding banquet followed. The banqueting hall…
It was such a happy occasion.
