Overcooked a Bit!

Thursday

Today I was due to go to Pilates at 9-35am, but work called so I cancelled that and went to gym later. It was just as well because a number of things happened between 9-30am and 10-30am – some work issues and a trip to Echo to provide electricity for the builder to finish the kerb. This was the photo I took last night from the balcony…

I had quite a chat with the builder and we spoke about the way ahead. Hopefully, God willing, we will be able to start building by January.

The other interesting thing is that last night I got a message from Valerie-Gail saying there was an attempted hi-jacking on Highway Rd, Fish Hoek on Tuesday evening. Highway was where we found the bullet. I’ve asked the Fish Hoek Police Forum if they have any news.

After working the morning, I went to gym in the afternoon. It turned out to be a bad swap with the Pilates. I overcooked the workout a bit and came home feeling very wan. My lips had no salt and I had no energy. I had food, drink, a shower and a long rest. By 5pm, I was much better. I got the washing off the line and put it away. A lovely sunny day for laundry.

This evening Mike and I watched a movie and now I’m ready to call it a day! Tomorrow I have to finish my tax so I can ask Stacey to cast her eye across it before I send it to my accountant.

Luke 1:78-79

Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us, to guide us to the path of peace.

I can’t let today pass without mentioning my Dad who went to heaven and saw the face of God for the first time 11 years ago today. I’m sure he is enjoying His presence.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
