No Thyroid Problems

Thursday

Today was the day…

My GP phoned and said my thyroid tissue is fine. No problems there. Grateful for that.

I had a quiet day at home. It rained for parts of the day and has been overcast, gloomy and cold. Winter has certainly arrived.

I worked for 4 hours. There was a flurry of excitement because the plumber returned to put the basin back in the cottage bathroom but I couldn’t find the keys for the cottage. I phoned Mike and he came home and we finally found a spare back door key in our box of random keys. So grateful for that. I think our main bunch may turn up inside the cottage. The plumber has now left to go to plumblink for some reason. I have to admit that this plumbing company has been pretty awful.

Courage finished the grouting in the cottage and then went to Echo with Mike to do the electrics. Mike was there yesterday and came home with a story. He said when he got there Werner, the builder, was on the top floor with a couple (who were maybe in their 40s). Mike went up to join them. Turns out they live two doors down (on the Simon’s Town side).  He is British and she is German. They were here on holiday when they got trapped in the country by the lock down. They are wanting to build a kind of conservatory onto the front of their home and they came to see if Werner could do it. Of course he can!

Psalm 69:13

I keep praying to You, Lord, hoping this time You will show me favour. In Your unfailing love, O God, answer my prayer with Your sure salvation.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
