Microwaving Eggs…

3-31pm

There is an art to cooking eggs in the microwave and I think I’ve mastered it! This is what I use…

Microwave egg cookerNo oil or butter is required. Simply, make the sure the container is on a flat surface and break the eggs into each pot…

Break the eggs into each potClose the container. Microwave on high for 15 seconds…this is already how much they have cooked…

Cooked for 15 secondsIf they get too hot, they will explode, so taking them out in 15 second intervals to allow them to cool a bit is not a bad idea. Another 15 seconds in the microwave and they look like this….

Cooked for 30 secondsThe one on the right has cooked faster than the one on the left. Try another 15 seconds…by 1 minute they are definitely cooked and voila, breakfast is served….

Breakfast after 1 minSo that was all at 5-30am! Nice. Talking of eggs, the Bible has a few references, one of which I actually read this morning…

Luke 11:11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

God is waiting for you to ask for His Holy Spirit. When you have the fruits and the filling of the Holy Spirit, you can do things you never thought you could, you will know things you never thought you would and you will feel things you never in the past did. (Beth Moore). The Holy Spirit strengthens you to enjoy every day to the full. Be filled. Be blessed.

After the show this morning, I sorted a few things and then set off for the Ladies Christian Home to see Granny. It’s been a beautiful day…

Table Mountain on a fabulous dayI took Granny out into the garden, where a rock pigeon came to visit…

Granny eating paw paw and watching the birdsI guess he was looking for a handout…Granny was not parting with any of her favourite fruit…paw-paw! After she had finished I spotted a lemon tree and went and broke off a leaf, so she could smell it. It was amazing how something so small elicited such a response from her…she couldn’t stop smelling it…

Granny smelling lemon leafShe took it back inside! The rock pigeon eventually moved away, choosing to chill in the shade…

Rock pigeon chillingI got home in time for gym at 1pm. After gym, Riana stayed for tea. Mike is on his way home now and the two of us are going up to the Noordhoek market for a bite to eat.

It’s been a lovely day.

God bless you loads!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
