Lunch at The Meeting Place

I’ve often seen it from the street. I’ve looked up at the balcony and thought it would be a nice place to try out. Today, I walked in and had lunch at The Meeting Place in Simon’s Town. It is above the shop which sells all sorts of beautiful decor. The entrance at street level is very cute and inviting…

When inside the shop, stairs to the restaurant are found on the left side as well as at the back of the shop on the right…

There’s an airy spacious ambience in the restaurant…

While the balcony is sunny and inviting…

The view from the balcony is attractive. It overlooks the Main Road and has a glimpse of the yacht club and harbour.

Lunch was great. Most of us had the chicken, bacon, feta and avocado salad, which was really good…

We will definitely go again, although perhaps next time for breakfast so there is not quite so much glare on the balcony.

I was thinking this morning that time is running out! In order to slow it all down, it’s really important to embrace and enjoy each day. Making each day count in regard to relationships, enjoyment of life, doing something worthwhile, finding contentment in the little things – all that adds up to a fulfilling day, which will add up to fulfilling weeks, months, years and eventually a fulfilling life. But it starts with today and even sooner than that it starts with now.

These are the days!

Keep the smile going!

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
