Today was the day…
Mike and I watched Fish Hoek Methodist church online.
I spent an hour and a half on the phone to Riana! How did we have so much to talk about?
And in the afternoon I had a lovely chat with Stacey and Elsie.
Mike found a whole lot of our travel photos and we put them on the TV and went virtual travelling, including to Venice!
And Florence – which we visited on a busy holiday weekend. Hard to think that Italy started locking down on 4th March and are only now beginning to relax their rules for movement.
And Bologna where we climbed a tower that had a defibrillator near the top!
Lots of happy memories.
So last night the movie Mike and I watched was made in 2016 – Love and Friendship, based on the writings of Jane Austen in 1794 entitled Lady Susan. It was delightful. Just a hint – when you watch it, the characters names and titles come up at the beginning. Have a pen and piece of paper handy and write them down. It will make following the plot so much easier. Definitely one we will watch again. A real treat.

South Africa’s Covid-19 cases are increasing. Yesterday they shot up 251 cases – up to yesterday we had 3034 and 52 deaths…

As Mike and I were looking at photos and saying what has been will be again, we considered a time to come when we will travel again. It might just be that you can’t go anywhere unless you have had a Corona vaccine. 🙏
