Life’s Certainties

There are many uncertainties in life.

But there are many certainties as well. Here are 10.

We are never left alone – For God has said, “I will never leave you; I will never abandon you.” (Hebrews 13:5)

God is always with us –  I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:20)

We can have peace – Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (John 14:27)

We can have joy amidst difficulty – Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10)

We can have hope – But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you. (Psalm 39:7)

God will provide – Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? (Matthew 6:26)

God does not want us to live with guilt – For whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything. (1 John 3:20)

God has us in His grip – For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. (Isaiah 41:13)

God has a plan – For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Our future is secure – And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. (John 14:3)

No worries!

So this morning began early, when I drove into Cape Town for more interviews. I beat the bulk of the traffic on a very misty morning and with CCFm as company, it was uneventful. I went to the ICC coffee shop for early morning tea…very civil…

#260 of my 1000 thanks is a comfortable warm bed. Last night it came to mind that there are many people that don’t have such a luxury.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
