Life’s Too Short For Plastic Coffee

Today I got it all wrong. My hotel accommodation was bed only and I left sometime after 6am and walked to the venue hotel, where I did not stop from 6-45am until 1-30pm. I had nothing to eat. To drink, all I had was a cup of black rooibos tea and in the end, in desperation, a cup of plastic coffee. I don’t know how else to describe it. It was reminiscent of the nurses home coffee. Because I limit my coffee intake, I felt it was such a waste. So now I sit at Durban airport and, I’m sure to my detriment, am on my second cappuccino! It tastes so good. And now that I have eaten, my head is no longer pounding and I actually feel quite alert. Is that a caffeine tremor I detect?!

Sunrise this morning was spectacular. Another unexpected surprise…

I have two more hours before I have to board my flight home. Sounds long, but I actually have got quite a lot of work to do, so, if the Alba Lounge doesn’t kick me out, this is where I will quietly sit.

#209 of my 1000 thanks is FREE airport internet access. It was amazing. I just turned my laptop on and it connected immediately. Perhaps this is the thing of the future. Instant connectivity wherever you go.

#210 of my 1000 thanks is for a plug – yes. A simple plug and convenient plug point to charge my cell phone and laptop. Grateful!

I haven’t done my Bible reading today, but I do know that it was Psalm 40. I used verse 4 yesterday. Today is verse 5.

Psalm 40:5

Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us.

His plans for us are always for good.

Keep trusting.

These are the days!

Keep the smile going.

God bless you!

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
