Life on the Beach

Wednesday

Today was the day…

We did our beach walk and swim and I worked for nearly 7 hours.

The beach is fantastic. There is always something going on there. Sometimes it’s not so great, like the dead seal that washed up looking quite gruesome. In recent days there have been loads of blue-bottles along the shoreline and a strange thing was seen – a little mollusk like sea-snail eating one of them. The footprints in the sand are always fun to see – humans, seagulls, dog paw prints of all sizes and  little tracks of sea creatures.

We had a super swim and came home just after 8am for breakfast.

We went out for dinner this evening and after getting back in, I was sad to hear that Nico Bougas has passed away.  Tonight he rejoices in heaven. He worked tirelessly and boldly for the Gospel while on earth and his legacy will continue in the thousands of lives he touched.

This was one of his last Facebook posts…

He has gone on ahead.

Colossians 3:14

Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.

The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
