Today was the day…
We completed the last piece of the cottage renovation. The guests were en route – they would arrive in about 30 minutes. This was going on….
All done!
As soon as it was done, it was a clean up and clear out. A short while later the guests arrived.
That was the last piece of the renovation…. for the moment. As Mike and Courage were doing the light switch, they noticed the age of the wiring. Eventually the cottage is going to be rewired, which is another mammoth task on its own.
And certainly not today’s problem.
A full day of work, a walk to the end of the street (no swim today), a bit of TV and my last day as a 56 year old has blitzed by.

For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.
The best is yet to come – we are only passing through.
