Horseradish For Supper

Sometimes unusual things happen when dinner is left to Mike to prepare! Hey, I’m not complaining. I was working and then went to gym. He went to the driving range and then he stopped off and picked up something for us to eat. There was  salad with horseradish dressing and a chicken pie. I think this is my cue to contact Freedom Foods for dinner. You have to know it has been a pretty quiet day for me to be writing about what I ate for dinner.

I worked, but it was surprising to me that it was only 5 hours. I started working at about 8-30am and worked through to lunchtime. It was then that I went to gym.

I got home around 3pm, rested a bit and then worked until the horseradish made its appearance! Mike is a star. He also bought a samosa as a starter. Not sure when I last had one of those.

One of the things I love is when Google throws up a memory. It sends me a message saying, “rediscover this day” and when I click on it, this is what I see…

6 years ago we spent the weekend at Betty’s Bay. This quaint cottage is just two houses away from where we honeymooned in 1986 so we love going to Betty’s Bay. We haven’t been for ages. I’m not sure we will go this year either, as we have other things planned. Short trips are better spent in the Swellendam area, you get my drift!

I’m excited to see the progress of young Kiara Mun-Gavin. She has had a second surgery to replace her skull bone and has recovered well.

Jaci’s latest blog

Her Mom Jaci spoke a few weeks ago and explained what happened. Click on this link. I’ve been listening as I write.

We have a miracle-working God.

Amen.

Romans 8:28

We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

Just trust.

These are the days.

Keep the smile going.

God bless you.

In His Grip,

Helga xx 🙂
